Our Pet Snails

Class: Nursery Year: 2025 - 2026

We have new pet Nerite snails in nursery. The snails have different patterns on their shells. Some of them have spots and some of them have stripes. We have been drawing the snails in nursery and finding out interesting snail facts. 

• Nerite snails are herbivores, which means they only eat plants.
• They are peaceful tank friends and get along with shrimp and fish well.
• Snail eat the algae off the sides of the tank. This is a yummy treat for them.
