Forest School

Lesson: EYFS

Class: Nursery Year: 2025 - 2026

We have a dedicated Forest School session with Mr Grant each half term that is additional to our other times when we use the space as a class. Mr Grant teaches us lots of different skills. We have learned how to make fire and all about fire safety when we roasted marshmallows. We have made bird feeders using apples too. We have also explored minibeasts and gone digging for worms and searching for other insects under logs. Spending time outside experiencing the different seasons and areas in forest school help the children to extend their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
