Lesson: Art and design

Class: Year 2 Year: 2025 - 2026

We had a fabulous day at forest schools. As we have been learning about sound in Science, we made musical instruments and even tried playing jingle bells on them. If our wood wasn't the correct size, we used the bow saws to make them smaller. We then made our own paint brushes out of sticks, leaves and grass. Then we mixed our own paints out of beetroot, black berries, tumeric, paprika, tea, coffee and honey and created our own art work.
