Miss Clark's Garden

Date: 12th May 2020 @ 9:20am

Hello Everyone,

At the weekend I was out in the garden. I have ivy that grows on my fence panels and it seems like it always needs cutting and trimming back. Anyway, I was outside working hard in the beautiful sunshine when I spotted something very special. A female spider had laid some eggs in her nest and they were hatching. There were lots of baby spiders crawling all around the nest having their first look at the big wide world. I am sure the mummy spider was very pleased. I was careful not to distrub them so I did not cut that part of the ivy. I watched as the babies crawled around but stayed together to keep safe. It was facinating.

Stay safe and healthy,

Miss Clark
